For personnel safety, energy conservation and process monitoring in:
– Heating and Ventilation
– Demand Control Ventilation
– Brewing
– Horticultural
– Food Processing
– Research
OX-AN® Carbon Dioxide Monitoring Systems like their oxygen depletion monitoring systems offer a cost effective solution and a host of system benefits for the measurement and control of CO2 for area safety monitoring, process monitoring, and Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) for comfort and energy conservation in buildings.
Capable of measuring up to 16 channels from one main control panel, the zone based system has two allocated sets of SPCO relays for each channel. These can be user set from the multi function user interface to control fans, dampers, valves etc.
The system is modular in design, all the control components can be integrated into one cabinet or alternatively a distributed system can be configured with the relay panels supplied on a chassis to mount into larger end user control panels. The connection from the main OX-AN® is by data cable utilising an I2C bus.
For safety monitoring applications the main panel features clear indication of system status by arrays of Red, Amber and Green LED’s. The zone which the alarm has triggered is indicated by a set of 7 segment LED’s. In all modes system status is indicated by a stack of coloured LED’s and a LCD allows the engineer to set the
functions and alarm levels.
A compact panel printer is fitted. This has several functions. One is the ability to print all system settings and, in the case of area safety monitoring, to provide a record of alarm events.
Two sensor types are available:
– Wall mounted type
– Duct mounting type with probe
– Digital control and set-up of all functions
– Monitors up to 16 locations
– Two stage alarm outputs with 3 amp volt free relays
– Upgradeable
– Sensor isolation
– Print on demand function documents time stamped events, ideal for due diligence testing
– Recall of alarm events
– Clear indication of fault zone on large LED
– Additional warning panels can be mounted up to 300 metres away
The number of sensing points required to adequately monitor a space depends upon a number of factors. Please contact us for free technical advice or a site visit.
OX-AN® offer a full installation service. All that is required on site is the provision of a fused mains outlet adjacent to the proposed location of the monitor and remote panel.
OX-AN® offer a service contract providing a service visit at twelve monthly intervals. At each service schedule our engineer calibrates and tests all the instruments functions and alarms.
For intermediate system testing we can supply test gases in disposable canisters with a needle control valve and carrying case.
